It is time again for one of Waypoint’s best events: the gathering of leaders from around the region for our “The Art of the Sermon” seminar.

For the past decade, we have invited nationally known preachers to share their stories of learning to prepare, refine, and present dynamic sermons each week.
This year Waypoint is excited to have Cam Huxford.

Cam Huxford  recently retired after 40 years as Senior Pastor of Compassion Christian Church, where he led the congregation from a few hundred to over 9,000 members across seven locations. A graduate of Point University and Emmanuel School of Religion, Cam has served on the Board of Directors for Point University and as a past President of the North American Christian Convention. 

Now passionate about helping other church leaders, Cam brings his extensive experience to Ministers’ Conferences, Church Leadership and Growth Conferences, Marriage Seminars, and Men’s Retreats, sharing invaluable insights on preaching and church growth.
